Saturday nights spent in lockdown
An undefeatable nag that I’m wasting my life away indoors
There’s nowhere to go and nothing to do
Everyone is trapped home like me and you
But to us isolation is nothing new
What is new, is that it’s okay, good even; true
Yet the voice of my soul doesn’t see what we do
It yells from deep inside of me, that I must go out, that I’m lazy and a failure too.
